Perhaps you are reading this because you have lost a loved one, in which case we are sorry for your loss. We welcome bereaved families to have funerals and memorial services in Elmdon Church: the best way to organise this is usually to approach a firm of funeral directors, who will contact us to make preliminary arrangements using our online Funeral Enquiry Form. One of our clergy team would then visit you, to learn more about the person you’ve lost and to plan the funeral service with you – we would want it to be as personal as possible.
We conduct burials and interments of ashes in Elmdon Church. You can find out more about who can be buried in Elmdon Churchyard, and other questions you may have, on our Churchyard questions page.
The Christian faith has distinctive teachings about death and what we call ‘resurrection’. To find out more about Jesus and why we believe that, for those who trust and follow him, our future is one of everlasting and joyful new life, come and join us any Sunday, 10.30am at “the Church in the Park”.
